November 8 - Reach Out and Read - The Wiggles Tour Comes to Atlanta - at the Gwinett Arena. Popular family entertainment band, The Wiggles, are proud to support the nationwide early literacy program Reach Out and Read, which trains doctors and nurses to advise parents of the importance of reading aloud and to give books to children between 6 months and 5 years old at regular pediatric checkups. Attention all Would-Be Band Members! - The Georgia State Defense Force Band is recruiting accomplished musicians, ages 17-65 with three or more years of musical experience at the high school band or higher performing level. It is not an armed force and does not deploy.
