DULUTH, Ga. - Police have released two sketches that they hope will lead to the arrest of those responsible for a deadly home invasion that left one man dead as well as wounded an 8-year-old girl and a woman earlier this month.

It happened just before 6:30 a.m. on August 6th at a home on a home on Summecrest Lane. Police believe two men entered the home to rob the family that lived there, but ended up getting into a struggle with 37-year-old Adam Schrier. He was fatally shot during the altercation. His girlfriend and a child at the home were also shot. Both are expected to recover from their wounds.

Police say both men are in their late 20s. The first suspect is described as having dark complexion with a very thin build and being with a couple inches over six feet tall. The second suspect is described as having a lighter complexion with facial hair and a thin build. He is believed to be 5 feet, 9 inches tall.

One or both of the suspects may be driving a light colored full ton pickup truck, possibly a Dodge Ram.

Anyone with information is asked to call Duluth Police Detective Bobby Johnson at 770-476-4151 or Atlanta Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS. Police say tipsters may be eligible for a reward up to $2,000.
