Family harassed in Paulding County

Posted: Updated:

A Paulding County family says someone has been trying to scare them out of their home.

For the past three months, Angelo Ferguson and his family say they've been harassed. In large red letters, someone spray painted "GO" on their home.

“I'm just tired of the harassment and they're just getting bolder and bolder,” said Ferguson.

The family tells FOX 5 it started with letters left in their mailbox.

"This is a neighborhood in Paulding County, not the hood in Fulton County," said Allisha Ferguson.

Allisha Ferguson believes someone wants her family to move because they are a black family living in a mostly white neighborhood.

The family says they've found disturbing items left on their porch. They found a bag with duct tape, a screw driver and some rope inside. They also found beer bottles around their mailbox and a pair of women's underwear in the mailbox.

"I'm going to stay here until I decide I want to leave," said Allisha Ferguson. "I am not going to let someone else run me and my family away."
