Fast food customer pulls shotgun on employees at Hardee's

NEWNAN, Ga. -

Newnan police confirm an outraged fast food customer pulled a shotgun on employees because he didn’t get an order of french fries.

The incident occurred at a Hardee's restaurant Thursday night around 10:30 p.m.

A man and a woman went through a drive-thru together and they were told to pull their vehicle to the side so the food could be prepared.

According to a police report, the man got upset after about seven minutes and came inside to complain about how long it was taking to get his food.

After the couple was given their food, the man tried to go back inside the restaurant because he said he was short changed of an order of fries. The employees had already locked the door. When an employee went out to ask them to leave the property the man pulled out a shotgun.

Minutes after the suspects fled the seen, Coweta County deputies arrested the couple. The police report also says the couple had two children with them in the car.
