Andrea Sneiderman released from prison

ALTO, Ga. - Andrea Sneiderman has been released from prison, according to the GA Department of Corrections.

A spokesperson from the department says Sneiderman was released from Lee Arrendale State Prison in Alto, Georgia at 12:23 a.m.

No further information was immediately released on the stipulations of her release.

Sneiderman was serving time after being convicted of perjury and making false statements in DeKalb County. Sneiderman's conviction follows the 2010 investigation into the murder of her husband, Rusty, at a Dunwoody daycare.  Her boss, Hemy Neuman, is currently serving a life sentence for the murder.

Sneiderman had been sentenced to serve five years.
