Fashion Designers "Revive" Treasures From Goodwill

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA, Ga. -

When you go to a fashion show, you generally expect the clothes on the runway to cost a fortune. But at a special fashion show Thursday night, nothing could be further from "extravagant."

The second annual Re2urrection Fashion Show at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery tasks local fashion designers to create designs from formerly owned clothing selected from Goodwill stores. All of the original pieces were for sale at a local Goodwill store for less than 25 bucks. Featured designers taking these clothes and creating hot new looks with them include Sir Algernon, Darrick Carr, Robert Chrls, Corine Austin, Jessica Fulks, Pericia Reese, Nyasha Alicson and Tony Atwater. The show is being presented as a partnership between Goodwill of North Georgia and The The2econdFloor.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken got a special preview of the show at the Fox 5 studios this morning. Click the videos above to see the incredible transformations!
