NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Rapper Fabolous says he was involved in a crash on the Van Wyck Expressway in Queens.

The New York City native took to social media site Instagram to post photos of the wreck.

"I just survived a car accident on the Van Wyck in Queens, NY. Thank God for letting me walk away with a few bumps & bruises but also for letting my driver Ruben & the two truck drivers involved walk away alive also."

Fabolous, who uses the handle MyFabolousLife, uploaded two photos at about 7 a.m. In one of the photos, a black Cadillac Escalade is facing the trailer of large truck which appeared to have extensive damage to the tractor.

In the second photo, a close-up of the SUV, the hood is raised and the front of the vehicle is smashed in.

The accident occurred on the southbound lanes of the road. There were no reports of injuries. The collision snarled the morning commute through the area.

"This was my 1st time being in a car accident. It's a very shocking experience & may change my outlook on how fast things can happen & you're put into a life threatening situation. Live, Love, & Celebrate Life.#Blessed," said Fabolous via Instagram.
