NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Police want to catch the man who opened fire inside a bowling alley in Queens. The wild shooting was captured on surveillance video.

It happened just after 10 p.m. on Saturday at the Jib Lanes bowling alley on Parsons Blvd. in Flushing.

The suspect fired five shots at a 36-year-old security guard, hitting him in the back and thigh.  The video shows two people running for cover as the man opens fire.

The shooting reportedly took place after the gunman was kicked out of the bowling alley.

The gunman ran away.  The victim was rushed to New York Hospital Queens where he remained in stable condition on Tuesday.

The suspect is described by police as black, in his mid-to-late 30s, approximately 5'10"- 6' feet tall, with a medium build.

    Heavy thunderstorms swept through the tri-state on Sunday causing flash floods and lightning strikes that injured 3 people. The three men were struck at Orchard Beach in the Bronx Sunday afternoon and were being treated at a local hospital. Meanwhile, various Labor Day weekend celebrations were interrupted, delayed and even canceled as the U.S. Open tennis tournament had to be postponed and the Electric Zoo musical festival on Randall's Island had to be prematurely shut down.

    There was a wild scene on the Van Wyck Expressway on Sunday. A large group of dirt bikers and ATV riders were driving recklessly near Hillside Avenue. Police say many of the bikers were going the wrong way on the road bringing traffic to a stop.
