Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA, Ga. - Most of the severe weather has already happened. And Thursday will be cooler than average and cooler than Wednesday. Motorists should use caution during their Thursday morning commutes due slippery roads and plan ahead for delays.

Thursday evening temperatures will dip into the upper 40s to near 50 as humidity levels drop to significantly lower levels than we’ve seen since last weekend.

There was a lot of moisture and warm air across the area on Wednesday. And rainfall amounts continued to mount up overnight. Most areas saw at least an inch of rain.

This weekend, temperatures will be dry and mild with a low in the 50's and a high in the 70's and only a chance of rain.
