Sandy Spring PD search for bank robbery suspect

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - Sandy Springs Police are searching for a suspect in a bank robbery that happened over the weekend.

The robbery happened at the SunTrust Bank on the 600 block of Roswell Road at the Publix grocery store.

According to authorities, a man entered the bank and presented a note demanding money from the teller and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a "black male in his late twenties to early thirties, 5'7" to 5'9" and 160-180 pounds." He was wearing black clothes with a Chicago Bulls hat.
