Posted: Updated:
Peachtree City Police say they have identified a man wanted for stealing wallets in at least three local gyms in metro Atlanta.
.
Police say Brian Gordon had almost a perfect cover story.  Gordon weighs over 300 pounds and has gone into gyms posing as a perspective member and asking about memberships and free guest passes.  Once left alone in the facility Gordon allegedly broke into lockers and stole credit cards.

Gordon’s latest attempt happened at the World Gym in Peachtree City, where he's accused of cutting the locks off of lockers and stealing wallets.

Police say after Gordon stole the wallets at World Gym he then stopped at a convenience store, and used the stolen cards to buy cigarettes and snacks.

Gordon then went to Best Buy where he attempted to buy thousands of dollars worth of electronics.

Gordon is accused of the same crimes in Duluth and other parts of Gwinnett County. According to Authorities Gordon is also wanted for the same crime in three different states.

Peachtree City Police posted Gordon’s photo and loud print shirt on their Facebook page. After a couple days investigators from the Midwest said that they recognized Gordon from similar incidents.

The investigators then sent Peachtree City Police more photos showing Gordon leaving stores where he's accused of using stolen credit cards taken from gyms in three different states.

Gordon is wanted in California, Iowa and Georgia, Missouri and Illinois are also looking for him.

Police say Gordon is a corporate chef who travels to business conventions in the same states that he is now wanted in.
