FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -

A Fayetteville teen has been arrested for murder. Fayetteville Police say they arrested Mustafi Mahdi after he allegedly stabbed his uncle, David Quincy III.

Police were called to a domestic argument at the resident at approximately 8:15 PM on Monday. Police say they found Quincy bleeding from multiple stab wounds. Fayette County EMS transported Quincy to Atlanta Medical Center where he died.

Fayetteville Detectives recovered evidence at the scene as well as witness testimony which led them to the arrest of Mahdi.

Police say Quincy had come to the residence to help Mahdi and had offered to allow Mahdi to live with him. Police concluded that after Mahdi and Quincy became engaged in a heated argument, Mahdi stabbed Quincy.

Mahdi is currently in the Fayette County Jail and is charged with Malice Murder, Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault.
