Woman recounts being shot outside of daycare

Posted: Updated:

It has been three years since a Rockdale County woman and her daughter were shot outside of a daycare. Now, she is using her story to help others and she says her biggest blessing is forgiving the mane who almost murdered her.

Kimy Motley spoke before a room full of women on Saturday about her walk with God and path to forgiving her now ex-husband, Terrence Roberson.

Police say Roberson shot his estranged wife and her 10-year-old daughter outside of Little Mountain Christian Academy in Stockbridge back in September 2011.
