ATLANTA -

A Delta plane flying from Orlando to Atlanta lost part of it's wing, mid-flight, on Sunday evening.

According to the FAA, the flight, Delta flight 2412, "landed safely on Runway 9 Left at Atlanta Airport at 7:10 p.m. after declaring an emergency due to a hydraulic problem. The aircraft stopped on the runway, and was towed to the gate."

A spokesperson with the FAA said "after the flight landed, Delta told the FAA that a four-foot by eight-foot part from one of the wings was missing."

No injuries were reported. And the FAA is investigating this incident.
