ATLANTA, Ga. -

Midtown will become a sea of green this weekend for the annual Atlanta St. Patrick's Day Parade.

The parade is Atlanta's longest running event in its 132nd year.

It features representatives from various Irish groups throughout the city, but it's not just an Irish thing. You can also expect to see clowns, floats, dancers, drill teams and more. The event is family friendly with an emphasis on children.

This year a special group has been added to the parade lineup. The Budweiser Clydesdales will make the trek down Peachtree St.

The event starts at noon on Saturday, March 15th. It will run until around 1:30pm.

The parade route runs down Peachtree St. from 16th St. to 5th St.
