1lb 'miracle baby' home from hospital

Posted: Updated:
COBB COUNTY, Ga. -

Leon Milton was born last May, extremely premature and weighing just over one pound.

Baby Leon's birth picture was tough to look at. The Cobb County infant weighed 1 pound and 4 ounces. Nine months later, the incredible fighter was rolled outside for the first time in his life.

Doctors said he wouldn't see, but vision prevailed. Little Leon is very alert, he even stared at our camera and passed his hearing test last week.

Baby Leon breathes with assistance and weighs 17 pounds.. His parents say there is no limit to what he can do now.

His family is celebrating his first moments outside the hospital.
