22 units destroyed in Clarkston apartment blaze

CLARKSTON, Ga. -

One person was hospitalized after an apartment fire in Clarkston -- where a roof collapses. 

The fire broke out around 5:30 a.m. on the 6700 block of Baynes Hill Drive at the Brannon Hills Apartments.

Heavy fire and smoke was showing when authorities arrived on the scene. About 22 homes were destroyed.

No word on the condition of the injured person, at this time.
