A Suwanee company called Parole Advocates says exactly what desperate family members hope to hear: there's a way to help their loved one get out of prison early. Just cough up as much as $1500 for their services.

Not so fast.

The executive director for the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles says there's no secret way of shortening someone's prison sentence.

And as it turns out, the man behind Parole Advocates has a secret of his own.
