Mattie's Call issued for southwest Atlanta man

UPDATED: Police say he was found safe and thank the public for their help.


Police are searching for an 82-year-old man who went missing from her southwest Atlanta home. They have issued a Mattie's Call due to his possibly having early stages of dementia.

Atlanta Police say Adell Kemp was last seen at his home on Shepherds Circle around 11 a.m. Saturday. He was driving a 1998 silver Cadillac Deville with Georgia Tag PNA 4633. Kemp was headed to Heritage Cadillac in Morrow, but never arrived.

He is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 168 pounds.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Atlanta Police Adult Missing Persons Unit at 404-546-4235.
