UGA's law school to host symposium on legal ethics

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - The University of Georgia's law school is hosting a conference on legal ethics.

The 14th Annual Legal Ethics and Professionalism Symposium is titled "Who Are They to Judge? Ethical and Professionalism Issues Facing the Bench." The day-long event is set for Feb. 21.

The focus of the event will be the increasing ethical challenges faced by judges in light of the changing dynamics of their jobs and the legal profession. It will include three panel discussions made up of judges, attorneys and professors.

David B. Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and Marsha Ternus, former chief justice of the Iowa Supreme Court are set to deliver keynote addresses.
