A car struck Mary as they were pushing her mom's car out of the snow.

The accident happened Thursday, January 30th, on Herodian Way near Circle 75 Parkway.

Mary's uncle shared photographs of the 13-year-old, her twin sister Maggie and the rest of her family.

Despite her mom's heroic efforts, doctors were not able to save the 13-year-old's left leg.

Mary is still being treated at Children's Health Care of Atlanta at Egleston .

Her parents, Wendy and Scott are grateful to everyone who has been praying for their daughter and wishing their family well.

The family has set up a GoFundMe account for all those people who want to help with Mary's care and rehabilitation.
