KISSIMMEE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Kissimmee police say they arrested 41-year-old Letina Smith Thursday for using a stun gun to discipline three children she looked after.

Officers say the three children aged 7, 8 and 9 said Smith used a pink rectangle shaped device with two points of electricity on it when they misbehaved.

Officials say Smith admitted to activating the device and holding it a few inches from the children, but did not actually touch them with the weapon.

Smith was arrested on three counts of child abuse and was transported to the Osceola County Jail on $3000 bond.
