Several weather warnings have been issued as a strong storm system moves through our area early Saturday.
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING was in effect for much of the metro Atlanta area. That watch expired at 9:30 a.m., but some areas could see strong showers and gusty wind as the system continues to make its way across the area.
A TORNADO WATCH is in effect until 3 p.m. in Barrow, Butts, Clarke, Clayton, Coweta, DeKalb, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Habersham, Heard, Henry, Jackson, Madison, Meriwether, Morgan, Newton, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Pike, Putnam, Rabun, Rockdale, Spalding, Troup, Upson and Walton.
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING is in effect until 3:15 p.m. in DeKalb and Fulton counties.
