DORAVILLE, Ga. -

An overturned tanker truck on Buford Highway snarled traffic in DeKalb County on Tuesday.

The tanker overturned on the ramp from Interstate 285 eastbound to Buford Highway around 5 p.m.

For several hours, all lanes on the ramp were blocked and southbound traffic on Buford Highway was being diverted through the left turn lane.

Crews worked to transfer the tanker's 8,500 gallons of fuel into other vehicles.

The tanker was finally removed and all lanes were reopened just after 10 p.m.
