GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -

Fire crews and paramedics at a Gwinnett County fire station got a special thank you on Monday.  Deborah Walsh suddenly went into cardiac arrest in her driveway a year ago Sunday, and she credits the crews at Fire Station 27 with saving her life.

Walsh doesn't remember much about what happened to her because she passed out and was unresponsive.  But on Monday, she and her family got the chance to hug the first responders who helped to save her.

Walsh's husband, Rob, performed CPR on his wife until fire crews arrived, with the help of 911 operator Cassandra Ramos.  She helped a friend talk him through exactly what he had to do to save his wife.   Ramos was also on hand Monday, and the Walsh family told her they'll be forever grateful for her help.
