'Brothers' graduate at top of class at Ga. college

ATLANTA (AP) - Two Clark Atlanta University students who call themselves brothers despite being from opposite sides of the world have graduated as valedictorian and salutatorian.

Lorin Crawford, a California native, and Tam Quach, who emigrated from Vietnam at the age of 10, graduated Monday. Crawford was named valedictorian and Quach was named salutatorian.

Crawford and Quach met in the university's honors program and tell the Atlanta Journal Constitution ((http://bit.ly/10goxPf) they both plan on pursuing graduate studies and will be lifelong friends.

Quach plans to attend Georgia State University to pursue a master's in criminal justice and Crawford plans to attend Duke University on a full scholarship to study statistical science.
