Atlanta firefighters and police officers teamed up to train for water rescues on Friday.

SKYFOX 5 was over the area near Princeton Lake where crews were demonstrating how to use helicopters during rescue missions.

The choppers save time by allowing rescuers to cover more ground and respond to more emergencies.

Officials say helicopters have played a significant role in flood and swift water rescues.
