Suspect sought after Douglas County police chase

ATLANTA -

Atlanta police are helping in the search for a suspect following a chase that started in Douglas County on Tuesday.

Authorities say police lost sight of the suspect after he ran from his vehicle. Officers have been using a police dog as they search an area around St. Joseph Avenue and 3rd Street in northwest Atlanta.

It is not known what triggered the chase.
