White County students honored in Los Angeles - Atlanta News, Weather, Traffic, and Sports | FOX 5

A group of high school students from White County are already making their mark on show business.  The young broadcasters won the grand prize at the student television national convention in Los Angeles on Sunday.

They brought home the award for "Best Overall Broadcasting" school in the nation. The prize carries with it with $10,000 money.

The students spent 16 hours shooting and editing a 16-minute film. A music video and a movie trailer as part of the contest.
