With temperatures dropping near freezing in the metro area, many folks had to brave the elements on Wednesday.
Milton Grader, a car hop at the Varsity restaurant, said he bundled up in extra layers to stay warm.
Construction worker Louise Johnson said staying active helping keep her warm.
Dane Coleman used rock sale to melt any potential ice as he washed cars.
"Rain, sleet, snow -- we're going to be making money, and people are going to be getting their cars washed," said Coleman.
Many people said they were surprised by the cold temperatures in March. It won't last long; FOX 5 Storm Team chief meteorologist Ken Cook says we should be back in the 60s in the next couple of days.
