Police: Man confesses to fatally shooting wife in Dacula - Atlanta News, Weather, Traffic, and Sports | FOX 5

Police say a Dacula man was arrested after he informed authorities that he shot and killed his wife.

Gwinnett County police said that Egbert Courtney, 60, shot his 58-year-old wife Sonia Courtney at their home on Kachina Trail.

Egbert Courtney has been charged with aggravated assault, felony murder, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.  

Courtney was being held Friday at the Gwinnett County Detention Center without bond.
