RV overturns on Interstate 85, 12 injured

ATLANTA -

Authorities say a recreational vehicle overturned on Interstate 85 early Friday morning, injuring 12 people.

The accident happened in the northbound lanes at mile marker 133 in Jackson County at around 6 a.m. All 12 of the people were transported to an area hospital.

It is not known what caused the RV to overturn.

All lanes were blocked for several hours but have since reopened.
