SAVANNAH, Ga. -
No one was hurt when a Delta jet ran off the runaway on Tuesday night at Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport.
Airport officials say Flight 2307 from Atlanta was landing when the pilot apparently over-corrected, causing the plane to leave the runway and come to an abrupt stop in some grass.
According to www.thecoastalsource.com, a passenger told the site three of the plane's wheels got stuck in the mud, and buses were being sent out to take to the passengers back to the terminal.
No one was hurt.
