Child struck by hit-and-run driver in SE Atlanta

ATLANTA -

Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a 10-year-old child in southeast Atlanta.

The child suffered a possible broken leg after being struck on Browns Mill Road SE at Jonesboro Road, police said. The child was transported to the hospital.

The accident is under investigation. Anyone with information on the driver is urged to contact police.
