ALPHARETTA, Ga. -

An Alpharetta teenager got the chance to sing in front of the judges on American Idol on Wednesday.

Isabel Gonzalez got the opportunity to be on the show after a family member wrote to the show's producers.

Veteran judge Randy Jackson even traveled to Alpharetta High School last year so she could audition for him.

The judges liked what they heard; Isabel moved on to Hollywood!
