PHILADELPHIA -
FOX 29 is getting results for neighbors who live near the former site of a church in North Philadelphia.
The city's Department of Licenses and Inspections has roped off a dangerous section of sidewalk near 9th and Cambria after our report on slate roofing tiles that were falling from the steeple of the former St. Bonaventure Church.
The city tells FOX 29 it plans to take the owners of the building, New Life Evangelistic Church, to court to force repairs or demolition.
FOX 29 is also getting results for a Philadelphia woman who says she was left high and dry when a furniture store closed without delivering a $950 bedroom set she says she paid for.
The set was meant to be a gift for her daughter.
A FOX 29 viewer, who happens to be the owner of Mattress World, saw our story and stepped up to donate a brand new bedroom set.
