Fire battled at Marietta home

MARIETTA, Ga. -

Fire damaged a home in east Cobb County on Friday.  SKYFOX 5 showed fire coming out of the roof of the home on Clubland Drive in Marietta around 3:30 p.m.

Residents of the home called 911 to report smoke in their attic. A short time later, the blaze raced through their home.

There were no injuries.

Clubland Road was closed as officials investigated the fire.

Firefighters urged residents to check their smoke detectors to make sure they were operating properly.
