MOORESTOWN, N.J. -
A Moorestown 21-year-old and her companion dog will be featured in President Obama's Inaugural parade next week.
Kathryn Feerrar, who has Multiple Sclerosis, says her 10-year-old black Lab, Weber, serves as her arms and legs -- a part of her life that she says is missing.
Weber is one of only several hundred dogs in the United States that have graduated from the Canine Companion program.
Feerrar became wheelchair-bound in seventh grade but says Weber changed her life physically and socially.
"I was a little shy," Feerrar said. "I was just getting used to being handicapped. It was all new to me and he was just an icebreaker an he really helped me e a little bit more confident in myself."
Weber knows 50 different commands. He can pick things up off the floor and turn lights on and off.
The pair will make the two-mile trek from the steps of the Capitol to the White House. They were chosen by the organization that trained Weber to be a Canine Companion.

Rain moved in Saturday afternoon and the chance for it will stick around through the seven day forecast.
It becomes very unsettled across our area with clounds and showers again Sunday. The best chance for rain is in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms are possible towards our south.
Sunday is cool but we do warm up well into the 80s by Tuesday. With the warm weather comes a better chance for thunderstorms.
