Union City police are investigating the bizarre circumstances surrounding a triple homicide that happened Sunday morning. They say an officer who was patrolling found a car parked on an interstate exit ramp, and that car had three bodies inside it.
The car was found on the exit ramp at Interstate 85 and Flat Shoals Road. Police say one of the bodies was found in the trunk, and two others were in the backseat of the car.
On Tuesday, authorities identified two of the victims as Cheryl Colquitt-Thompson 32, and 33-year-old Quinones King, both from Montgomery, Alabama, and 43-year-old Rodney Cottrell.
