Local players prep for Monday's Junior Bowl

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

While most of Georgia's high school football faithful are enjoying a nice long winter break, some of the state's top players were working hard on Friday.  The first day of workouts for this year's AT&T Junior Bowl got underway at Grady High School.

This marks the third year for the Junior Bowl, which is a great way to showcase high school juniors.  RisingSeniors.com founder and former Georgia Tech star Joe Burns is behind the game.

Players are chosen by a selection committee, and then divided into East vs. West for the big game, which happens on Monday at 1 p.m. at Grady Stadium.
