A candlelight vigil was held on Friday in honor of those who lived and died in homelessness. It was held on the steps of First United Methodist Church of Marietta and sponsored by various homeless groups around the Metro area.
December 21st is the longest night of the year. It was cold and breezy and organizers asked those in attendance to imagine what a night like this means for someone without stable housing.
They then vowed to get more funding to help those in need.
