A little boy who touched many hearts has passed away. FOX 5 profiled the toddler affectionately known as "Liam the Brave" a few weeks ago.
Liam was diagnosed with a rare brain disorder his parents asked for people to send Liam stars.
It was a tall order for some 20,000 handmade stars.
Liam's mom wanted an inexpensive way for people to share their journey. She told us the letters and stars that followed brought so much love and strength to their family.
Liam celebrated his second birthday on December 13 and the family's birthday wish came true. Liam received some 25,000 stars from all over the world.
