Police in DeKalb County are investigating a shooting that left 1 person dead on Friday. According to authorities, the shooting occurred at the Villas at Druid Hills off Buford Highway.
According to DeKalb police, they believe an argument may have triggered the shooting. They say one person was found dead inside an apartment, and one other person was injured and transported to an area hospital. It is not clear if the injured person was also in the apartment.
Police believe the parties involved knew each other, but they do not know the specifics of argument that led to the shooting.
