A Holly Springs woman injured in a parade for veterans is making big strides. Meg Ladner and her husband, Officer Shane Ladner, were both injured when a train struck a veterans parade float they were on in Midland, Texas last month.
Doctors had to amputate Meg's leg.
Meg is now alert at Atlanta Medical Center. She was taken outside on Wednesday for the first time.
