A group of ROTC cadets from a Gwinnett County school went on a spending spree on Wednesday for Toys for Tots.

The Marine Corps program at Parkview High School held a month-long Toys for Tots drive that just ended.

The booster club president said the cadets collected $59,000 in cash and $21,000 worth of toys.

They donated $20,000 to Toys for Tots and then spent Wednesday buying more toys.

The Marines sent a truck to collect the Christmas bounty.
