Three Atlanta police officers and their steeds got their riding papers on Wednesday. It was a small but enthusiastic ceremony at APD's Mounted Patrol Barn on Cherokee Avenue.
The newest members of the equestrian team: Lt. David Wilson, and Officers Andi Cameron and Shawna Wiggins.
Wilson also won the unit's "Silver Horseshoe Award" for being the top candidate in the class.
