Several Atlanta Falcons players spread Christmas cheer on Monday.

Atlanta Falcons safety Charles Mitchell serenaded seniors at Lanier Village Estates  in Gainesville, Ga.

The 23-year-old rookie played Christmas songs on the keyboard for a packed room of residents.

Mitchell says he wanted to do something to give back this holiday season and was excited to see so many smiles in the audience.

Two of Mitchell's teammates also got into the spirit.  Fullback Mike Cox, running back Bradie Ewing and their wives hosted a party for patients at the Shepherd Center.

A  DJ was on hand, while the players served food and sat down for dinner and some football talk with the patients and their families.

Ewing and Cox say it's the least they could do this holiday season. Both players say they just wanted to support the patients during a difficult time in their lives. They say they love volunteering during the holiday season.
