A deer crashed through the front window of Ranstad USA on Wednesday morning.
CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. -
Employees of a Carroll County business got a surprise Wednesday morning when a deer crashed through the building's front window.
The work day started like any other for Michelle Hackney and her two co-workers at Ranstad USA around 9 a.m. when suddenly a deer ran past the building and into the company parking lot.
At first, Hackney thought it was a dog.
After a couple of moments, the deer then took dead aim on the building, charged towards it, and made a crash landing according to Hackney.
Employees were able to trap the animal in a back room before running around outside and setting it free.
Animal control searched for the deer for about 30 minutes before giving up.
Officials say recent construction in the area may have forced the animal from its home.
Other than damage to the window and front door of the business, no one was hurt.
