Get Up and Go: Breakfast with Santa and holiday market

The destination for the Get Up and Go is Oxford and the Allen Memorial United Methodist Church Breakfast with Santa and Holiday Market.

The event is all day Saturday starting with free sausage and pancake breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. After breakfast, children can burn off some energy in the free fun and game area.

There will be live music throughout the day as well as storytelling, puppets and a holiday market with handcrafted items from local artists.

All of that is bound to work up an appetite and for only $3.50 you can get a hot soup and cornbread lunch between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Event hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the church on Whatcoat Street in Oxford.
