Food to spice up your game day

Need to spice up your game day menu? Chef Ted Lescher and owner Ernie Geyer of Lucky Burgers and Brew have the perfect items for you: the ultimate cheeseburger - Georgia Dawg Pounder! It's a fried pimento cheeseball atop a 7 ounce burger, served with spicy red pepper mayonnaise; the Atlanta Rise Up Chicken Sandwich, stacked with a grilled chicken breast; and the Alabama Slammer!

Recipes:

Alabama Slammer
1 oz. amaretto
1 oz. Southern Comfort
1/2 oz Peach Schnapps
!/2 oz Lime Juice
1/2 oz Grenadine
 
Place one cup of ice in a shaker cup with the rest of the ingredients and shake well. Strain into shot glass and enjoy!!
 
Georgia Dawg Pounder
7 oz Ground Chuck formed into a Hamburger Patty
1 Round Challah Burger Bun
1 Fried Pimento Cheese ball
2 tablespoons Red Pepper Jelly mayonaise
 
For the Fried Pimento Cheese ball
form 11/2 oz of pimento Cheese into a Ball
in 5 oz of Buttermilk submerge Pimento cheese ball to cover all sides
Place the cheese ball into a seasoned flour mixture (Cornmeal, AP flour, kosher salt, blackening spice and a touch of corn starch), and roll around until all sides are coated with the breading. Fry in 350 degree oil until golden Brown and hot throughout.
 
For the Red Pepper Jelly Mayonnaise:

2 oz of mayonaise
2 oz of red pepper jelly(can be found in the grocery store)
 
Combine ingredients in a stainless steel bowl and mix together well with a wire whip.  Toast your buns. Season the burger patty with kosher salt and pepper. Grill to desired doneness. Place 2 Tablespoons of the Red Pepper jelly on the bottom Bun. Place the cooked burger patty on next then place the fried cheese ball on the burger. Place the top bun next and smash down to release the hot chewy goodness of the cheese and enjoy.
 
Atlanta Falcons Rise Up Double Chicken stacker
8 oz Chicken Breast cut into 2-4 0z pieces
1 Challah
1/2 oz Lucky's Marinated Red Onions
3 Slices Mozzarella Cheese
2 Tablespoon BBQ Mayonaise
 
For the Marinated onions:
1 red onion sliced thin
4 0z red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons chopped cilantro
combine ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 30 minutes
 
For the BBQ Mayonaise
2 oz mayonaise
2 oz BBQ Sauce
Combine ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
 
Sandwich Assembly
Season the 2 4 oz chicken Breasts and spray with oil. Toast bun. Place two tablespoons BBQ Mayonaise on bottom bun. Place in this order on the bottom bun: cooked chicken, Lucky's marinated onions, 1 slice mozzarella cheese, chicken breast, two slices mozzarella cheese and
top bun.
